Cellcom, Israel's Largest Cellular Operator,
Chooses PassCall's GateWave Platform for Its Mobile Internet Launch


Herzelia, Israel, November 6, 2000 – Cellcom, Israel’s largest cellular operator, and PassCall Advanced Technologies, a leading provider of mobile portal platforms, today announced that Cellcom is planning to use PassCall’s GateWave platform to provide advanced mobile Internet services for its subscribers.

Cellcom, Israel’s largest cellular operator with approximately 1.8million subscribers, has chosen PassCall’s GateWave after examining several competitive technologies and upon completion of a successful trial. The plan is for the GateWave platform to form the basis of Cellcom’s mobile Internet portal that will provide Cellcom’s subscribers with interactive access to large number of Internet sites that have been optimized for mobile Internet access.
